Join Jeny Dawson of Zen Soul Balance at The Unity Center for a 60-minute sound healing journey in honor of the Autumn Equinox — a time to pause, reflect, and restore balance. Through the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, and chimes, participants will be guided into deep relaxation, promoting peace, clarity, and the body’s natural self-healing. Monarch School Summer Donation Drive!

This fall we’re partnering with The Monarch School to collect hygiene products, t-shirts, and shorts for unhoused youth and families. Donate in the lobby Aug. 31–Sept. 28; online giving info is in the Sangha newsletter and on our website.

The San Diego Food Bank
Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1–3 pm: The San Diego Food Bank hosts Senior Food Distribution in our parking lot. Contact them with questions. In October, distributions will be on the 1st Monday and 3rd Tuesday.

Chair Yoga Classes with Courtney
Join Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher Courtney Yezzi for a gentle 20-minute chair yoga practice on Sundays, Sept. 21–Oct. 12. Designed for all bodies, these sessions help open the body, calm the mind, and prepare you for meditation and Rev. Wendy’s message. Come at 9:30 am before service or 11:10 am after—no mats or equipment needed.

Next up is our Youth Exhibit, The Inspired Art of Our Youth—Friendship. Artists 18 and under are invited to submit their work—see guidelines on our website.

Youth Village
EVERY SUNDAY AT 10 AM
Sunday School Youth Village welcomes kids ages 3+ with check-in from 9:50–10:10 AM. Children enjoy play, lessons, meditation, and activities during the service. For under 3, please use the family room near the sanctuary.

Healing Light Candle Corner
EVERY SUNDAY
Before and after service, engage in three spiritual practices: release what no longer serves you with water, set an intention by lighting a candle, and submit a prayer request.

Mira Mesa Street Fair
The Unity Center is excited to announce our participation in the 25th Anniversary Mira Mesa Street Fair on Saturday, October 4th! Stop by our booth to meet our community, pick up a free book, and experience a calming sound bowl demonstration. We are also looking for volunteers to help us with this special event, so please reach out if you'd like to get involved.
